Golf Course Road is supporting the Daniel & Guida Negrao family in Uberlandia, Brazil. This work is an urban evangelism with GCR taking the primary support for the team as it comes together. There is currently only one family with the plan to add additional families over the next couple of years. The plan is to grow the local church then move out into the surrounding metropolitan areas, in conjunction with the local church as it becomes self supporting.Current attendance is running 40-50. Daniel and some of the members are leading several small groups.
The Uberlandia work fits within the direction GCR has chosen to take in many foreign works, with the team members being indigenous, which allows for an immediate understanding of the culture, understands the language, and can reach many of the locals much quicker than the American missionaries. Indigenous workers are more cost effective and allow for the support of a larger team in a given work.
Daniel and Guida have three boys and are a wonderful couple with a passion for serving the Lord.
